Bringing the Feminine to Light

The Myth of Hera and her Journey to Wholeness

Date: Saturday, May 6, 2017

Time: 10 am - 1 pm

Guided by: Brenda Sorkin, GCFP

Myths are the ancestors of the psyche. Through stories we relate to the issues of our nature that are ever with us. The myth of Hera reflects a feminine approach to the sacred union of the opposites in marriage as her path to wholeness. Whether bridging the masculine/feminine duality in yourself or in the mirror of relationship, we will bring to light this journey of the feminine.

Guided by the myth, image and simple movement explorations to embody our insights,we will reflect on how this particular myth speaks to us today.

Open to women and men. Wear clothes comfortable for movement. No prior knowledge of myths nor of Feldenkrais movement is necessary.
