Winter Wonderland

Experiencing Our Foundations of Movement

Date: Saturday, February 2, 2019

Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Guided by: Brenda Sorkin, GCFP, MI Senior Trainer

We can sense when our balance is off or our discomfort if there has been too much screen time. We can be told all about the biomechanics creating our aches and pains, posture or gait, yet our habitual habits run deep. If you’re tired of stretching or trying to force yourself into a better position perhaps it’s time for another approach. In Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement and other programs based on the work of Moshe Feldenkrais, Ph.D. it is the process of discovery that brings about the changes you can feel and take into your life. Know what is possible. Your mind and your body will thank you. Take pleasure in your own wonderland.

In this workshop we will be drawing from the work of Ruthy Alon, Ph.D. Senior Feldenkrais Instructor and the developer of the Foundation of Movement Intelligence programs Bones for Life, Walk for Life,Chairs, Solutions for Optimal Mobility and Mindful Eating .

Workshops are $65 for 3 hour session
